Explore classical and creative yoga poses flowing in conjunction with breath. Class will begin with centering exercises, move through traditional Sun Salutations, and flow into standing sequences linking breath with movement.

Vinyasa Flow yoga is a creative and more active form of yoga using continuous dynamic movements linked together with the breath to create a flowing sequence. We wind down with cooling postures and blissful Savasana (rest to absorb practice).

Participants will need a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, and one blanket. No class on 10/31/23.

Fall/Winter Rambles, 3.0

with Sam Horine

Sep

September 26th, 2023 to March 12th, 2024

If you enjoy being outdoors in the winter, want to encounter lost trails or trails slightly off the beaten path, and share in good camaraderie, then Rambles 3.0 might be for you.

We will venture out on a trail within 40 miles of Skowhegan once a month between October and March to enjoy the changing seasons. Due to diminishing winter daylight all outings will start in the early afternoon.

Good walking shoes, warm winter boots, ice creepers, snowshoes, comfortable layered clothing, hats and mittens and a yen to explore are the essential elements needed.

Classes will meet on the second Tuesday of each month (dependent on the weather) and last about two hours.

There will be a short orientation meeting at SAHS on September 26. First ramble on Oct. 10.
